Leaving Porto dos Tatus towards Poldros beach, we will enter the Igarapé dos Periquitos, a narrow branch of river in the middle of the Parnaíba Delta. In this place, there is a demonstration of crab hunting and the possibility of sighting animals such as monkeys, alligators, white and brown herons.
Continuing to Praia dos Poldros, we will stop at the 4th mouth of the Parnaíba River and contemplate the famous meeting of the river’s waters with the sea. On the way back, there is a short break in a small fishing village to discover the second largest island in the Delta, the Canary Island.
Those who wish can enjoy a good lunch at one of the restaurant options. On the way home, a final stop is made at the dunes of Morro Branco, known as the Pequenos Lençóis Piauí.
