Filhos do Vento was the first inn built in the town of Atins, in the middle of the year 2000. Known by Brazilians and foreign tourists, it has typical local architecture and has 10 chalets and 05 apartments. The chalets were built in the shape of a circle, imitating an Indian hollow and with a roof made of carnauba straw, a local palm tree in the region.
With a privileged location in Atins, the inn is 200 meters from the beach and next to the dunes of the Magic Desert, where thousands of lagoons with crystal clear water form during the rainy season, making the region one of the most beautiful in the world. This intriguing phenomenon of nature makes Lençóis Maranhenses National Park the only wet desert in the world with 155,000 hectares and Barreirinhas as the main gateway.
